Hugo

In Loving Memory

Our fine boy, Hugo, adopted from the Minnesota Boxer Rescue in October 2012 at age 10 months, passed away from cancer of his salivary gland on November 27, 2019, just a few weeks shy of his 8th birthday. He was truly a fine pet who adored his people, especially Dad, and even grew to like his tuxedo cat fur sister Chloe. He had several health issues over the years, but he never let them affect his loving personality. He even loved going to the vet’s office, as he got lots of hugs and dispensed many kisses there. He loved walks and wanted to be around Dad and Mom whenever possible, but every new person that he met was his new best friend. He also enjoyed meeting and playing with other dogs and even seeing other cats. Only two other dogs ever growled and snapped at him, and he responded by looking at them as if to say, “What’s wrong – I like you?” He loved his couches, pillow, blankets and laps, not understanding that an 85 lb. lap dog was a bit much for most people! We miss him dearly!
