COVID-19: Appointments and Prescriptions

Greetings WBAH Clients,

We hope this email finds you and your family and friends healthy and enjoying our lovely Minnesota spring weather, despite current events.

The team here at White Bear Animal Hospital wants to remind you that we are here for you and your pets during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have remained open during the current crisis to provide essential services to our patients in need.

We are now accepting appointments for routine preventive care as well as elective surgeries, such as spays, neuters, and dental procedures. You can request your pet’s appointment through our website by clicking HERE or you can CALL US at 651.777.1393 or EMAIL US at wbah@comcast.net.

We are still doing curbside appointments until further notice. No clients are allowed in the building, except for euthanasias. When you arrive at WBAH, please remain in your vehicle and call the clinic. A staff member will discuss what services are needed for your pet’s appointment and direct you on the procedure for bringing your pet into the clinic entryway. At the end of the appointment, the doctor will discuss the physical exam findings, diagnostics, and treatments and payment will be taken over the phone.

We apologize for those of you that have had trouble reaching us on the phone. Unfortunately, we are unable to add more phone lines at this time, so we have to get by with what we have. As a result, team members may call your from their personal cell phones, in which case, you may receive calls from a blocked number.

If your pet needs a prescription, either new or a refill, we have FOUR ways to serve you:

1. CALL or TEXT our prescription line at 651.363.1795 and leave a message with your name, your pet’s name, your phone number, the drug, strength and quantity you are requesting.

2. Send us your prescription request by EMAIL to wbah@comcast.net.

3. Request your pet’s prescription request through Petly. Don’t have a Petly online pet portal? Click HERE to sign up.

4. Place an order through our online store, My Vet Store Online, by clicking HERE. Online store rebates are given immediately.

We realize that you have many options as to where to fill your pet’s prescriptions, both locally and online. And we realize that some of those options may be slightly less expensive than we are. However, we ask that you consider the benefits of purchasing your pet’s food, medications, and supplements through us, including:

1. Parasite prevention products, such as Heartgard Plus and NexGard, are guaranteed by the manufacturer when purchased from us.

2. Manufacturer rebates and free product are available only when purchased from us.

3. Your purchase supports a local business whose primary goal is to care for your pets.

As always, thanks so much for entrusting us to care for your beloved pets.

Sincerely,

The Team at White Bear Animal Hospital
