    Boomer

Boomer, a beloved companion and true friend, crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and loyalty. Boomer had a gentle soul and a soft spot for pup cups, so much so that coming home without one often earned you a pointed look and a grumble of disapproval. He preferred the comfort of home after a good stretch, often curling up to rest with his favorite human. Boomer was more than a pet; he was a steadfast companion through late-night study sessions and the stresses of nursing school, always there to offer quiet comfort and unconditional love. Boomer’s presence brought joy and calm, his memory leaving pawprints on the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

    Bette L.

Bette (pronounced Betty) lived for 15 years and was the best cat I ever knew. Although she was partially an outdoor cat during the early part of her life, and did things like climb trees and roofs, she made the complete transition to being an indoor-only cat in her later years. She was a fan of catnip mice, IAMS wet cat food, ripping off paper with her teeth, and heat vents (as you can see in the picture). Furthermore, she tended to say “brrrrr” rather than “meow,” which was an interesting quirk of hers. Another notable quirk of Bette that people always saw was that she was a tabby manx: a stumpy manx with a very small tail. Near the end of her life, she became very cuddly with all of us. My husband Kerry and I miss her very, very much.

    Flannigan

    2010 to 2024

Flan was a man of few meows and a thousand looks. His little toe beans left large marks on our hearts.

    Micah Palmer

    11/25/2006 to 8/14/2024

The day we picked you up at AHS in January 2007, you were doing a photo shoot and were the headliner photo in the St. Paul Pioneer Press January 27 article on “How to Find the Perfect Pet.” For the next almost 18 year, that is exactly what you were – perfect in every way. You were always an equal opportunity kitty that gave both of us our fair share of your cuddles, head butts and lap time. We miss you getting us up in the morning and seeing us off to bed at night plus all your loving during the day. The house just is not the same without you. We love and miss you.

Gabby was a kind and gentle girl. She enjoyed playing and walks with her big brother, Giacomo. She also liked retrieving in lakes! Miss you Gabby!
